About the Yale Light Therapy Group |

 The
Yale Light Therapy Group, based at VA Connecticut Medical
Center in West Haven and the Connecticut Mental Health
Center in New Haven, focuses on developing novel treatments
for depression and on understanding how light works in
treating depression. Members of our team have been studying
and treating depression with light since 1988. Our current
treatment research focuses upon new treatments for
depression during pregnancy (antepartum depression) and for
winter seasonal depression (seasonal affective
disorder). |
